Timber Ridge is a quaint neighborhood comprised 52 acres of lush green lawns and greenbelts sitting beneath Central Oregon’s towering Ponderosa pines. It is situated to the east of the Bend Golf Club. You can take a short walk or drive your golf cart to the clubhouse and first tee by using a path that connects the community to the Bend Golf Club.

The Timber Ridge community has only 87 houses mostly built in the 1970’s and 80’s. Through the HOA (operated by Fieldstone Management LLC) the vast grass lawns, in common spaces and individual properties, are extremely well maintained using Green Thumb Industries Landscaping. This really sets the tone for the neighborhood as one of the greenest in Bend. Homeowners are not allowed to have property line fences so one lawn spills into the next.

The homes in Timber Ridge are all very well maintained as required by the HOA and the owners living there have done an outstanding job adding their own landscaping with beautiful flower beds and bushes surrounding many of the homes. Timber Ridge is not only a golfer’s paradise but also is attractive to those who prefer to live in with such beauty surrounding them. At $219 a month for HOA dues you are certainly getting your monies worth. Along with the lawn maintenance, dues also include yard waste removal, road maintenance, as well as snow plowing and removal in the winter months.

Timber Ridge is a Fire Wise community. The homes are on the Roates Water System and the common utility companies are Pacific Power, Bend Broadband, Cascade Natural Gas, and Cascade Disposal. The CC&R’s do not allow for open storage of boats, RVs, campers, or truck campers. Although additional buildings and even an ADU is possible with approval.

To the west of Timber Ridge is the Bend Golf Club. To the south you can see a couple holes belonging to the Old Back Nine Golf Course as well as a large empty field with tall grass. Beyond that and out of sight are some more subdivisions. To the north and east is an undeveloped plot of land. The Bend Factory Outlet Stores are just a few minutes drive away along with Albertson’s Supermarket and numerous restaurants. Local schools are Jewell Elementary School, High Desert Middle School, and the new Caldera High School.

A few attractions local to Timber Ridge are: The High Desert Museum, Sun River Resort in Sun River, Benham Falls Trail, and the Lava Lands Visitor Center where you can find The Trail of the Molten Land and the Lava Butte Cinder Cone.

If you drive south on Highway 97 through the town of Bend, Oregon you can take the Powers Rd exit to connect to 3^rd St, also known as “Business 97”. Go south on 3^rd street until you come to the Murphy Rd roundabout. Go east on Murphy Rd and that will take you by the Bend Golf Club. After you pass the Club House on the right side of the road you will see the sign for the Timber Ridge community.
